Lawyers Committed to Helping Injured Workers Since 1936
For over three generations, the law firm of Krasno, Krasno & Onwudinjo has built a solid reputation characterized by integrity, tradition, and ambition. Our primary focus is in helping to protect the rights of Pennsylvania workers who have been injured while on the job, as well as maintaining the well-being of their families and children. We are passionate about serving all disabled workers and will fight for your rights regarding workers’ compensation cases of all sizes.
How it Began
The story behind Krasno, Krasno & Onwudinjo began in 1936, when the honorable Isadore Krasno – a worker’s comp referee, judge, and trial lawyer for almost 45 years – decided to turn his focus on protecting the rights of workers who had been injured while on the job. Not only did Mr. Krasno believe in his goals wholeheartedly, he instilled these values within his son and partner, Lester Krasno. It was because of this father and judge’s devotion to injured workers that Krasno, Krasno & Onwudinjo came to be.
Our 80 year tradition was then led by Isadore’s son, Lester Krasno, for the next 30 years. Like his father, Lester began his path as a trial lawyer, handling civil, domestic and criminal trials. He continued to follow in his father’s footsteps by passionately representing his clients, while taking on some very difficult cases and standing up against employers or insurance companies who tried to rip away the rights of their injured or disabled workers under the Workers’ Compensation Act.
To date, Lester Krasno has personally handled worker’s compensation cases in the six-digit range, as well as winning somewhere over a billion dollars’ worth of settlements for the firm’s clients.
Like father, like son, at least in the Krasno household. In 1999, Isadore’s grandson and Lester’s son – Jason Krasno – followed the way that was paved by his forefathers. After joining the law firm and digging into some interesting criminal and civil trials, Jason Krasno’s focus grew exclusively upon workers’ comp litigations. Like his father and grandfather, Jason quickly realized the benefits achieved in assisting injured workers and protecting them from tight insurance carriers or major companies who tried to pay as little as possible – or nothing – to the employees who became injured while at work.
Growing with the company, Jason Krasno oversees the Philadelphia offices of Krasno, Krasno & Onwudinjo and has been the spearhead behind the expansion of the firm to other communities throughout PA. The firm now has seventeen lawyers. As it has been for the last three generations, the goal of Krasno, Krasno & Onwudinjo is to continue helping and protecting the fair treatment of its clients; as they navigate through the Social Security Disability (SSDI) and Worker’s Compensation (SSI) processes.
